Food & Nutrition Project Support - June 9, July 11, August 11
Drop in any one of these days to get help with your food & nutrition project. Each help session starts on the hour. For example on June 9th, you should plan to arrive by 10 AM, 11 AM or 12 noon.

Committee members will be on hand. They will NOT be able to actually cook/bake, but can help you with:
- Update/help with the judging process (both county and state),
- Completing your book,
- Understanding your portfolio requirements (which can NOT be a poster!)
- Menu and place setting ideas,
- Mock judging questions,
- Choose My Plate guidelines,
- Info on Best Dressed Table Setting Contest and Baked Goods Auction
Horse Clinic - 6:30 PM, Wednesday, June 13
The Delaware County 4-H Horse Committee is hosting a clinic beginning at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, June 13 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds Horse Arena. You are welcome to bring your horse, but it is not necessary. There will be a few demonstrations and time for your questions. Topics include braiding, banding, the new ranch riding class, equipment and tack. You are welcome to bring your tack and bits for inspection so you know if it is a legal bit.
Goat Showmanship Clinic - July 14
Bring your goat and practice showmanship skills! The clinic is 9:30 AM to noon, Saturday, July 14th in the grassy area west of the Junior Fair Building on the Delaware County. This clinic is hosted by the Delaware County 4-H Goat Committee.
4-H Committee Needs Volunteers
The 4-H Committee will have a new structure and we need people to join the committee or a sub-committee. There are five sub-committees: Alumni, Fundraising, Fiscal/Fund Development, Recognition and Awards, Governance/Committee Development.
