Family Nutrition Programs Available
The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) centers its teaching upon research-based information, such as the USDA's Dietary Guidelines and land-grant university research, including The Ohio State University and its Ohio State University Extension. Most of the programming is done through small class settings but may also include displays, and the distribution of newsletters and fact sheets. Class situations might include food or cooking demonstrations, recipe sampling, analyzing food labels or recipes, informational videos and educational material for home use. Audience participation is encouraged.
All programs are offered to clientele on a nondiscriminatory basis. Contact OSU Extension, Delaware County at 740/833-2030 or 740/548-7313 x 1925 Monday through Friday, 8:30 am till 4:30 pm for dates, time, and locations of Family Nutrition Programs.
